Patagonia Hi-Loft Down Sweater Hoody - Women's - Fall 2013
exactly what I needed
The Patagonia Hi Loft is exactly what I needed for colder winter temps in the NW. It's warmer than the Down Sweater. Not too bulky. Doesn't compress as much as jackets with larger baffles (thus, more cushion comfort). I wear a small Nano (old style; new tapered style won't work for me) and small Down Sweater, but a medium in the Hi Loft. I'm 5'7", 110 lb. The med. is warm with a cotton knit shirt. Yet it accommodates the nano or a fleece for windy cold days.
The attached hood is works as a collar (doesn't hang down in back). very comfortable jacket. I tried many brands and all the styles of each brand.
This jacket was a good value at the marked down price from OMC.
OMC is a fabulous small old company down the street from me. I can go in the store or order on line and go pick up. They have a friendly knowledgable staff.

well designed and well loved.
this is the second of these jackets ive picked up for my girlfriend; the first one didnt have a hood. she wore it every day through fall winter and spring; to work and back, skiing, camping and backpacking. it held up very well despite its light weight materials. the down started to clump a little from moisture but a quick wash with some nikwax down detergent and its as good as new. now theres a hole in the sleeve from campfire embers and down is slowly leaking out. so i bought her this one, and expect it to get used just as hard.

Super light, compact and warm
Great product. Looks good, even on a larger frame like mine!
Just right for the worst of our Aussie urban winters (around 4⁰C).

perfect fit, great jacket!
So excited for this jacket! It has a longer fit which is great, since Patagonia tends to run shorter and wider. I'm 5'4" 140lbs and a medium fits me perfect. I even have a bit of room for a hoody underneath. Super warm, very lightweight and packable. Excited to take this backpacking! Got the maraschino color-way, it's a great red without being too bright.
