"Heavy duty slippers"
First off, OMCgear is awesome with great prices and service. Now to the review. This boot is top of the line. Quality and comfort is what this boot is all about. Right out of the box, they are comfortable. I normally wear a size 10.5 2E (44 wide). The fit is true to size with the perfect toe box for my wide foot. Adding the extra pad just adds that much more comfort. The boots have a locking D-ring for the lower half lacing adjustments and normal hook type loops for the top half of the lacing. This allows for microscopic adjustments which I find necessary for day to day use. Once you find your proper fit the boots give that slipper like comfort. Then there is the build quality of the boot which is of the best that I've encountered. Walking on rough terrain is where this boot shines with the support it gives along with the cushioning of the heal. Most mountaineering boots are stiff and take some getting used to just walking in them, not these. These boot offer the stiffness but also give you the proper amount of flex that smooth out your step so your not feeling like your walking with plywood strapped to the soles. They have super grip on all outdoor terrain. Summing it get what you pay for. They are worth every penny of their cost.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

"Great boot so far and fits my WIDE foot"
I love the La Sportiva footwear. My biggest problem with the La Sportiva foot wear is that they tend to run narrow. My problem is I was blessed with WIDE feet, in the 4 E range. After reading a ton of reviews I thought I'd give them a try.I went a size up from my normal 44 to 45.They fit perfect with a fairly thick pair of wool socks. So all of you folks that have also been blessed with "Duck" feet, these work. I've done a local 4000 meter peak in my neighborhood several times and have had no problems what so ever.I climb in Switzerland every summer for three weeks and I can't wait to try them out on snow and ice.I feel they will do fine. They have been very comfortable, no blisters, sore spots, nada. I didn't even give them a break in period. Highly recommend!

Yes, I would recommend this product.
