Fischer BCX 675 Ski Boot - Men's
Hey Bigfoot, These are the boots you've been looking for.
I wear a size 49 boot, and have had a difficult time finding a pair of boots that are both high quality and offer a good fit. These measure up on both counts. I have had a chance to get them out about 10 times this season so far, and they just get better. So far, I have found them to be good on a variety of terrain including gentle rolling open country as well as on groomed Nordic trails in the mountains where I have had the chance to see what kind of control they offer. The stiff soles lend a lot of control in turns, and I can comfortably pull of things like hockey stops that I have had trouble with while using lesser boots. I find the whole boot supportive, yet not restrictive. I lost quite a bit of money in a switch from 75mm to NNN-BC and back this year but these boots have left me with ZERO regrets about the entire fiasco. They have me curious about trying out a set of cable bindings and also about getting my hands on some wider BC skis. It's got to be a pretty good piece of gear to get you thinking you'd like to get more involved in the sport. Thanks Fischer and OMC for saving me from any more Alpina oriented blisters, and making a favorite way to spend time outside even better!

Excellent shoes for use in the mountains
I bought these shoes for hunting purpose. I go hunting in the winter in the mountains and the forests and need warm shoes with good support. These seem to fullfill my demands. They seem to have good "Fischer-quality" and are good value for the money.
If I should put my finger on anything, it would have to be the strange lacing system. The upper shoe doesn't have lacing, but a velcro locking. I would have preferred lacing all the way, but anyway, it seems quite solid.
