My grandpa said there are three things a man should not scrimp on, shoes, socks, and underwear. I searched far and near trying several brands and designs to replace my old undies as Eddie Bauer had decided they were no longer haberdashers.
Ex-Officio delivers the most comfortable and value-packed skivvies on the market.
DO NOT LET THE PRICE SCARE YOU AWAY! After all, doesn't your "stuff" DESERVE the very best?
Bought these for a trip to India during their hottest season. These are awesome in almost every way, but I have experienced some fraying/piling on the sides after just a handful of times worn/washed. I am not sure, but it might be just from rubbing against the denim in my jeans.
Ordered these for backpacking in Europe and these are by far the best underwear for travel! They are lightweight, extremely comfortable and easy to wash and quick dry. Favorite underwear for sports and everyday wear too. Durable as well.
Bought my husband one pair of Ex Officio Give-N-Go boxer briefs a year ago to try out, and now he is steadily replacing his perfectly good Brooks Brothers cotton boxer briefs with these Ex Officios. He previously tried a number of other wicking briefs - REI, North Face, etc - but he says they don't compare to Ex Officio.
So i read a lot of reviews on this product before buying it because I wanted something seriously quality and I was willing to pay. Well everyone seemed to rave about it but I found that this product really was not as good as everyone said.
First of all they ride up on me. So I was looking for some boxer briefs that would stay in place. Well not only do they ride up when I am backpacking but they also ride up when I am just wearing them in daily life. I am pretty small in that I wear a 28x30 pant so it may just be that the small size just is not small enough.
Secondly, I found that it did not take long for them to stink. Ya they likely smell less bad than any cotton underwear you would buy but I still noticed the smell after 3 days of backpacking. One thing I did not try though was to wash them in a stream or something. Maybe if I had done that it would have turned out better.
I don't think that I would buy these ever at full price. I may buy some more if I can get them cheap but it really is not worth it to me otherwise. I think the fabric feels nice and they don't stretch so that's good but I was expecting them to be absolutely incredible. Well it turns out that they are more like a bit more comfortable boxer briefs than usual.
So take it as you will. If you buy them don't expect to never have to change out of them again but at the same time know that you will get a decent pair of underwear.
These are super comfortable and dry really fast. Their claim of being able to wash them and get by on only two pairs is totally right. I'm gonna buy a few more pairs and omc is the best place to get them!
