I needed a back pack to stow some gear in while I'm cyclo-commuting it to and from work. I need to bring a change of clothes as well as some emergency repair supplies and some electronics for my afternoon run. I decided that since I was looking, I might as well get a hydration pack even though my commute was not long enough to benefit from it, it would be nice to have when I go on longer rides.
I was a little disappointed at the size of it at first. It seemed very small and I doubted I would be able to fit what I needed to carry in it. After a couple rides I figured out how to pack everything I needed except my running shoes which I now just leave at work. Its very light and comfortable. Probably the most comfortable pack I've had.
If I could change something on it, I would change the front storage pockets. The zipper runs from near to the bottom and up to the middle of the pack at the top. This makes the opening of the pockets very restrictive and its not easy to load and unload items from those pockets, especially when the pack is full of other items.
