Asolo Khumbu GV Backpacking Boot - Men's 5 5 1 1
Well built boot for all your outdoor needs I bought this backpacking boot for use on most of Washington's mountains. I needed one to with-stand the impacts of rocks, roots, stream crossing and snow or light glacier travel so I took it on the one climb I knew had it all, Forbidden Peak in the North Cascades. I had this boot submerged in the water, kicking steps in snow and it performed superbly. I even strapped crampons on these boots to cross the glacier with the same result. Not only is the boot a great backpacking boot, it qualifies as a quality light mountaineering boot. I can't say enough about how well these boots performed. September 1, 2013
