"Good product overall"
Pros: Super light, breathable and waterproof. The quality construction you would expect from arctyrex.

Cons: Only two very shallow pockets. Very loud to walk in. Boot openings are a little tight for alpine ski boots.

Overall great pants, but a few slight modifications would make them perfect.
Rating

Yes, I would recommend this product.

"Excellent GoreTex Pro Shell Bibs / Pants"
If you have ever owned anything form Arc'Teryx, then you know about their attention to detail and emphasis on quality.

The Theta SV pants / Bibs are no exception. Having zippers that allow you to take the pants off and on, without having to remove boots and crampons is key. I like that they go over the waist, to keep spindrift out in deep snow and wind.

The higher waist also makes the pants more comfortable in a harness, which is key for technical ice or ski mountaineering when your harness is on all day.

The "drop seat" is a huge plus when nature calls. Unlike a "half-moon" zipper, you can't really "drop trow" without taking off your harness. Which is a slight downside.

The front pockets could be a little deeper, but they will hold lip balm, keys or some energy food.

The material is quite burly, but still maintains a pretty soft feel.

Hope to use the pants to ski and climb in for years to come.
