"Just what the doctor ordered for winter"
This is my third Rho. As a resident of Montana it is pretty much my standard base layer from October through April

"Good base layer - hike, sleep and live in it"
Hi All!

Yes, this is a pretty basic staple of my layering system, and because it is a base-layer, I wont go into detail about the merits of Arc'Teryx base-layers because there are too many to list.

Yes, it's made overseas, but who cares? it's not like it's a three-hundred and fifty dollar jacket. BTW, I always buy my Arc' jackets RIGHT when they come out as a new product, and that way I ensure that they are actually made in Canada.

The only foible I've come across so far is the tendency to develop little holes in the fabric. Who knows if this is endemic to the product (i have a cat, and his claws could be the culprit). Anyway, I wear a tight-fitting synthetic tee-shirt under this product, and it shows the white color of the tee through the hole in the base-layer's fabric.

I love it though. i sleep in it, and because it's black, I zip it up under any Arc' coat Im wearing and it looks kinda svelte in the way only Arc'Teryx can do. i am very lanky, with very long arms and legs, and Arc's larges seem to fit me spot on. I love their stuff. And I am an Arc'Teryx jacket junkie.

Mine is a large, and at six two, two hundred five pounds, it fits PERFECT LY. LOVE IT.

I recommend this to anyone looking for a multi-purpose base layer. The tall zip-neck is flattering to the jawline, and in black it makes a person look kind of hip, or at least i think it does, when you zip it up under ANY kind of outer-layer. ;)

Buy it. Especially if you are tall and lanky! :)
