"Excellent Retailer- Excellent Product"
You will not go wrong with Arc'teryx. They make serious clothing for serious outdoorsmen (and women).

I bought the Beta AR in Medium Maize, I am 5'-10" 160lbs. Fits great with synthetic base layers and light fleece layer underneath. Does not restrict movement. Vents heat and moisture very well *layer properly!

This jacket served me Very well on a strenuous nine hour winter hike. Portions of the hike up I opened pit vents, took off hood and zipped front half open. Summit conditions -5F windchill 40mph gusts, Close pit vents zip up front and cinch hood down very comfortable! Very versatile! Never had to add or remove layers all day. I also wear around town when its 65F and rainy again Very Versatile, Very waterproof!

Works Excellent for backpacking- my main use. Front pockets hold a 22oz water bottle comfortably and allow easy access while wearing a pack.

Looks good, I am very satisfied. Thanks Arc'teryx!

"Arc'Teryx Beta Jacket: Awesome jacket!"
I bought last year model which I got for about $100 cheaper than the most recent model and I don't regret it! So far, I love this jacket. It acts as an excellent wind stopper and rain jacket. With a couple of layers under, it keeps you really warm and dry. Can't wait to use it on the slopes!

"Lightweight wind jacket / active jacket"
This jacket is just what I was looking for... 3 season jacket, included some technical features, pro-goretex and hopefully will last a decade. Fit and cut is great. OMC offered the best price by far. Thanks! BTW the nightshade color looks really sharp...
